The story of Killian and his journey through the fairy glade was told by an unknown author to a young girl named Rose. The story goes that Killian was a knight who searched for his true love, Rose. Upon finding her, he reaches out to her, only to be pulled in by the fairy queen. He is unable to go back home but he promises to return to her one day.

The story does not end there though, because after almost ten years have passed, he finally returns. Upon his return he tells the girl that the real reason he had not returned was that she had died soon after their first meeting. She died of poison so great were his grief and guilt over not being able to save her.

This is a true story about how true love can conquer all in the end, even death itself.
